It is a Buckler 90 body but used for a home built chassis. This is confirmed as Ken Green now has photos to show this.
The Buckler 90 was a good seller. This was also an 1172 Sidevalve, as these were now being extensively raced under the 1172 Formula.
A re-creation by The Buckler Register, featuring the Buckler 90 sports racing car, which competed in the 1950s together with its dedicated mechanic. Large image available - 3888x2592 pixels, 3175kb.
It concerns the Buckler 90 sports/racing car registered PBH 1 that was built at Halton in the 50s. I've attached a photo of the car and some officers and apprentices.
It is in fact a Buckler Shell on a Buckler 90 Chassis built under licence in New Zealand. .
